Hi Guys,

I know some of you have had success getting Suzuki to repaint/replace your wheels for flaking paint. My question is first is this what your wheels looked like or is this just a side effect of everyday driving after 41K. That brings up the next question of it's a 2012 bought June 2012 with 41K on it. I bought an extended warranty but passed on some sort of extra tire/wheel warranty. Do you guys think I'd have any luck in my situation?

Thanks,

Joe

No.

They'll blame "driving environment".

Mine going exactly the same, and the car is only a few months old. Going to see the dealer tomorrow. My neighbor has a 2 year old BMW, with the same problem. Brought the car into the dealership a few weeks ago, and they changed all 4 wheels at a cost of £1850 ($2800). That's the type of result I expect.

Yeah $2800 is a lot to replace those wheels. I bought these: http://m.ebay.com/itm/360980434945.
Not as nice as stock but I'm hoping they don't chip away in a short amount of time.

Not a lover of black wheels, but they look great. I bet they are a lot easier to clean as well

The flaking paint is definitely a defect. Getting Suzuki to admit that is a different story though...
