Dunlops are very good for all season tires. Very little road noise and good ride for an 18" low profile tire. It is an all season tire though. A summer tire is definitely going to improve handling, but whether or not it is worth it depends on where you live and how you drive. Most drivers will never push the Dunlops to their full potential.
This is a spot-on assessment, IMO. Though I will say that I corner very hard on a daily basis and the tires have not slipped even once, so I have pushed these tires and am still happy. Very good all-around tire. My only complaint would be looks... not exactly "sporty".
Do you mean the tread or the sidewall? I don't think they're particularly bad looking, considering the low profile. The tread isn't particularly aggressive looking though.

Both. I think the sidewall is too "blah" for 18s. The read isn't very cool, but it serves a purpose so I can understand that.

The OEM Dunlaps are only so-so in performance ratings - and rather poor on snow/ice. I swapped them out right after I got the car for better all season tires. Don't expect too much from them - typical OEM setup.

I'm hoping with AWD snow & ice won't be much of an issue for me, if so I will definitely be nixing the Dunlaps.
Here in Montreal we usually get plenty of snow, and it's now LAW to have snow tires between December 15 and April 15th, So I guess I'll be getting some steel wheels and Winter tires before too long. The upside is that the stock tires should last 3 or 4 years.
So I'm trying to decide on the rims... if I should go with one of these two. I looked at the RRM wheels for the Kizashi and they are very nice, however they come out to be about 1600 with tires. These are almost half the price. By the way, I have the platinum silver color. I like the RRM silver/chrome style but I'm afraid that silver on sliver would look too pretty. I don't want a show room style look. I'm leaning towards the black rims on sliver as it would look a little more sporty and gritty. Plus, they aren't all black, they have the machined lip which would give a little contrast with the tires.
Thanks a lot! Those are great visuals. But the black rims should look something like this: my bad attempt at painting over your PS. But I'm going to see if they have silver versions because those look very nice as well!
