Extended Studs

Ok so I want to put extended wheel Studs on my 2012 Kizashi S so I can put spacers and get that look where the wheel pops out a little. When I researched the stud specs and got m12 X 1.25 according to http://www.wheel-size.com/size/suzuki/kizashi/2012/ . Apparently I was told it's the same size as a WRX Subaru. Anyways I ordered the studs from ARP and they didn't work.... Has anyone tried this? The ones ARP gave me where thicker than the originals. They're as small as Hondas but the thread is different. Anyone have accurate specs?? I want to do this asap!

The Kizashi is indeed M12x1.25, along with Subaru's. Honda's are M12x1.5 as far as I know. I'd verify what you received from ARP

Sounds dangerous, but anyway.....

So you're actually replacing the studs? If you are, then the end of the stud that fits into the hub is very important- not just the thread diameter/ pitch. Each manufacturer is different.

So the "knurled" piece (I assume that's the part that is an interference fit in the hub) is larger on the Subaru stud.

Hi, BxKizashiS. When you tried installing the ARP studs, did you have to remove the hub from the car to do so? I am trying to install replacement studs but there's not much clearance to hammer the studs out when the hub is on the vehicle (the knuckle behind the hub gets in the way).

Did you end up installing the extended wheel studs?

I didnt install the extended studs, ive yet to find but to put those in you use a pry bar from the back to put pressure on it and you put the lug nut on the stud and turn it.. while you turn the lug nut it will pull the stud in
