GTS/SLS bumper with fog.

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

I have been looking like crazy for a 2012/13 SLS/GTS bumper. I have the SE Zashi and I love the car but hate that bland bumper and no fogs... Anyone know a good site to purchase the bumper? I have been googling and of course with the rarity of this vehicle all Junkyards I have called in SFlorida don't have them in stock.

Yeah, wow....a national search only turned up one 2011 GTS/SLS bumper (which is essentially the same thing as you have now with fog lights).

Its posts like this that make me question the true value of a Kizashi. What is a car worth if there are no parts to repair it?

If you already own it, the true value is way more than you're going to get by unloading it. The good news is they don't need much to keep going. The OP is looking to do an upgrade, not a needed repair. The fact there aren't any front bumper covers available online indicates, to me, they're hoarding the entire front clips as an assembly for insurance repairs. I'm buying a driveshaft from a local yard and they have several cars in stock to choose from, and yet, they have zero hoods, bumper covers, fog lights, fenders or head lamp assemblies available for me to purchase. Or should I say zero available that they are willing to sell me, joe-nobody, separately. Hmm....sounds peculiar aye? Salvage parts is a dynamic business. 10 minutes from now another one can pop up. Also, by no means are the online used parts sites a complete listing of all that is out there. However, it is an indication of what we all already know...there aren't many of them out there to be had in the 3 years they were sold here, rolling or wrecked. You're in western PA and there are a fair amount of cars out there.

No doubt the Kizzy is really a rare car hence the parts are rare or soon to be very rare. It was rare before Suzuki bailed. On the flip side, new parts will be available thru Suzuki for some time, I'm sure. Just don't expect anything to be available overnight, and do expect whatever Suzuki wants to charge for them. If it wasn't that the car has been extremely reliable for me, I would be very worried. But anyone looking for decent used parts is going to be hunting a lot.

You could just add fogs for A LOT less money.

I know that feel. I gave up after I realized how hard it would be to source the Sport bumper and side skirts.

Finding this part used may be the proverbial needle in the haystack. However, if you do find it, it will probably be worth the savings over buying a new one from Suzuki. Time or money--you're going to be spending either one.
