An interesting denouement.
Personally, I'll say this:
This is what I would have done from the start and not ever bothered with trying to turbocharge a Kizashi. As exciting as the project would have been, it would likely be an unreliable car with some serious torque steer. The WRX is a much better car given it's factory-designed as a manual turbo AWD vehicle. Have the power channeled through all four wheels and a warranty backing it up. This sounds so much better than turbo-kit FWD car, personally.
I checked out a 2015 WRX S4 (a JDM-only model) while I was in Japan. Sitting in it, I thought to myself, "Yeah, I want a WRX as a next car." I personally find the WRX very enticing so I don't blame you for getting one. While it may not have the fit and finish of a Kizashi, it has the performance to spank it up and down. The Rex is a performance compact, not an upscale family sedan, anyway.
I must say that if the Levorg was offered in the US, I may want to go with that. It's basically a WRX as a wagon. It's more upscale than a regular Impreza wagon in both looks, refinement, and design. You can tell it was Subaru's wagon answer to the WRX's departure from the Impreza lineage. I'll post pics of it soon.
Congrats on the WRX. Keep us posted on the turbo Kizashi's fate.

That's a good one. You almost had me with that one.Armykizyguy92 wrote:Regretfully I informing everyone that I have sold my sls and turbo with it I have bought a 2015 wrx and it was a better choice for my family but the dealership is still building the car so I will have them keep me posted
If it's true, you at least gotta spill which package and color WRX you're getting.

I got a 2015 wrx base in WR blue photos where taken by my sister and edited. I have to say that the twin scroll turbo on this has almost no lag to it

Well congratulations I suppose.... Sort of a tease. I'd be really interested to see what they end up doing with your car.
I'm more of a Levorg kind of person, but we'll see what happens. I'm sort of hoping they bring back a wagon WRX. The fact that I can't kill the stability control in my forester XT really pisses me off. (Holding the traction control button down does not work the same as the WRX).
If my job holds out I may buy an older WRX again just for something to fun. - My Fiancée's car isn't doing great right now though so I've been attempting to find a really cheap SLS/GTS kizashi for her(me). Anyway, please drop in from time to time. I'm still active on the saabaru forum even though I haven't had one in about a year.

When I asked you what color your WRX was going to be, there was exactly one right answer and you answered correctly. Congratulations.
