I remember one year in HSV in the late 1980s when it was 2 inches of ice followed by 10 inches of snow.DesRado wrote:Roads weren't too bad. A little slick in spots but the main roads were definitely traverse-able. Secondary roads were interesting, but still manageable without much work.

I thought it would be fun to ride my bike on that ice. I never knew a bike could fly out from under you so fast, and leave you stunned on the cold ground like that.

It was for a city that never sees ice or snow at all. It happens about every 10 years or so. Last time I had fun hanging out with the local Subaru club--best snow day ever!DesRado wrote:That's a crazy amount of ice and snow.I also would never attempt riding anything on ice purposefully, especially my Kiz. I'm not a rally driver, yet.

I use a bungie to hold any of my bottles to the passenger side of the trunk. And then lately, I just got a high sided cardboard box from sams. Keeps everything right where I want them.DesRado wrote:Drove around the car today, spirited mind you, and everything stayed in place except for a new bottle of de-icing wiper fluid. I'm guessing the sloshing tipped it over. But I'm relieved everything didn't move around too much.
