Definitely a pain. How often are you rotating? I'm thinking of just doing front to rear (like with directional tires) to make it a little easierKuroNekko wrote:Oil change and tire rotation done yesterday. I got a 3 ton jack and jack stands last Christmas so with my old pair of jack stands, I was able to have all four wheels off the ground simultaneously for this rotation. It made things easier but a DIY tire rotation is still a pain in the ass. I'll post more about it on my thread on this topic.
What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Lady hit me in the side at a four way stop sign, KuroNekko will know where this malfunction junction is, Rhode Island and Sellman, just past the Post Office.
I remember other cars being ahead of me and to the left, but don't remember any to the right. Then, halfway through, here she comes. I'm thinking she ran the stop sign, but honestly can't swear to it. There are two stop signs within about twenty feet there, could be she didn't see the second one and just drove through.
I'm in a base Jetta as a loaner. Only drove it about five miles last night, but it seems horrid.

I know right! It is open season on the kiz. I just called state farm alittle bit ago and they said they are going to give me an AWD car after the Kia Forte got stuck in the snow. Prepare for a long turn around time for the car also since parts take a bit to come in.
Other than the chromed trim piece on the door, what additional Suzuki sourced parts are they going to need for this repair?

Wow, you must know something about the business. I thought that was a silly question, but when I went and looked at the estimate, it turns out there's very little. Trim and weatherstripping is about it.Ronzuki wrote:Other than the chromed trim piece on the door, what additional Suzuki sourced parts are they going to need for this repair?
They're having the wheel refinished, I'm going to look that sucker over quite well. I wanted to have two of them done because of curb rash and the guy said he'd never be able to match the factory finish.

I asked because the side of my wife's SX4 was ripped open, including lower B-pillar damage, by a rouge landscape trailer. The parts, 2 new OE passenger side door shells and misc. whatnot, arrived in less than a week. Car was good as new inside of 2 weeks and cost only about $1500 more than your estimate there for that little ding.Woodie wrote:Wow, you must know something about the business.
