Which could have easily been folied with a brown paper bag next to the camera mic. But we'll charge the studio $20k for sound effects.

I will admit, the original "rumble-cam" style movie is, was, and always will be the best. The Blair Witch Project was a student release made for less the $26K that made high 6 digits in the first weekend of mass release. Nothing shot this way since has even remotely compared even with 100 times the budget. It's time to move past and invent the next big thing. IIR, Cloverfield was a HUGE flop and so was almost every "Rumble-cam" movie since...

Yep, like the concept of a 'viral video', everyone wanted to cash in on the fad.

What's interesting is how some of the elements of this style of shooting has made it into larger mainstream movies like the Bourne trilogy.

Did you notice the chick-flick product placement of the Volvo? I'm sure sales of it went through the roof...to vampires and other 'pale faces'.

Dumb and Dumber is a better love story than Twilight...

Honestly, if I wanted to watch an emaciated emo chick with no friends sit and bitch and complain all day because she can't get a boyfriend I'd take my nieghbor's kid out for coffee...

Or stab myself in the eye with a branding iron. Yeah, I'd rather do that, it's less painful...

 It's a chick flick, and most of those have stories that most guys would rather die than suffer through.

I still haven't done this and don't plan to. I have a huge stereo installation taking up my truck space and I drove to another state to buy my Kiz. 2.5-3 hour drive each way.

I mostly feel the same as many - I have no intention of letting anyone touch my car any more than I have to because they will not take care of it like I do. For my 2nd oil change I took it to the guys I trust and while it was in the parking lot (as I doubt they did this) someone stole one of the plastic rack-mount covers from my car. :x

Not sure if sarcasm .... I realize it's just a little piece of plastic, but ... it's just a little piece of plastic. Why would you take that from someone's car?
