Honestly, a Suzuki that was repo-ed and also smoked inside of with 72K miles is a damn worthless car, market-wise. I'd offer to buy it for less than $7,500 personally.
$12,000 is laughable. Pay a fraction of that. There is no mystery to why this car sat on the dealer's lot for months.
2011 SLS purchase?
Yeah, but it's a shocking depreciation for a MY 2011 that once cost over $26,000 new.LPSISRL wrote:Well, a $7500 car is hardly worthless.
But yeah, 12k is way too much.
Suzukis are decent cars themselves, but are just worthless market-wise when compared to the values of other cars.

Yup, you're right, Kuro. Fortunately I bought mine with no resale plans. My first Suzuki, as SX4 was pretty much an impulse buy back in '09 when the cash for clunkers deal was on and I had a '95 Town and Country I could get $4500. Picked up the new SX4 Crossover for just over 11k. Could not pass that up after looking at the Nissans, Hondas and Toyotas. Didn't know anything about Suzuki then. I experienced the resale value loss both when I went to try and sell it and then only got $8500 for it in June of '13 when I traded it in on the Kizashi. Only 40K miles and in just about perfect condition plus some add-on.
A certain forum member's former-Kizashi was listed for $10494-ish in FL before the listing disappeared over the weekend, and it was a 2011 SLS with 40K miles.
