I must keep my radio turned up high, I don't notice any wind noise difference with the racks on or off. So mine are always on. I'm always throwing my bike up there anyways

I keep mine on because it's a hassle to remove them and put them back on per use. The thing I remove or replace per use is the bike module, not the roof rack. Also, one of the Allen head bolts for the roof rack mount is stripped so I'll need to replace it for the next re-installation.

I agree that the Kizashi looks sleeker without the roof racks, but of the roof racks on the market, I think the Whispbars are definitely the best looking. They are also only noisy when you have the moonroof wide open. With it closed along with the sunshade blind, you can't hear the wind noise they create.

Any car looks sleek without crossbars...but these crossbars do not take away from the look of the Kizashi. I have had nothing but compliments from everyone that has seen it. To each his own I guess.

If anything, it's form follows function. I've got to get my bikes around one way or another (I own three) plus my gear in the trunk. Though the rack does look better than most with flush mounted bases and aero aluminum crossbars.

Either the bike goes on the roof or it's getting stuffed in the trunk getting mud on my seats and scratches on my bumper. The choice is simple, really.

Only because I can't take a Kizashi off 5 foot drops.

Three bikes and a motorcycle, actually.
