Had yet another full tank trip over the 4th. Ended up with an unexpected 3rd passenger for the ride there, which I believe pushed the "cargo" to near 750 lbs. Thought perhaps that would kill any chance of achieving my goal of 30 mpg. Yup, it did. Final calculator tally on the round trip through Rock Mtn National Park & back: 29.98 MPG. I heard my Kizzy laughing at me. (Display said 31.4)

I think I'm getting better at making the number on the display larger... but not the calculated MPG. Last tank the display said 32.2, which I incorrectly assumed would surely be enough padding to yield an actual 30 MPG. Nope. 29.8. This tank I'm going to stop trying so hard & just drive it like I did when gas was cheap. Probably means my 27.5 MPG from Fuelly will be a high water mark I'll never see again.

Do any of you use manual mode? I'm trying to use that more around town, mostly because the CVT drops the RPMS too much when I try to accelerate moderately.
Hi. I'm new to this site. I have a 2011 & I will get about 600 to a tank of gas. I'm putting a turbo in it during the winter. Has anyone ever done one before? ?
