NA models (and possibly others) of the Kizashi are wired in a way where the fogs cannot turn on unless the headlights are also on. Many other car enthusiasts have bypassed this restriction, so I thought I would create a thread for any of us that are interested in doing this.
This thread that has some information: http://www.kizashiclub.com/forum/viewto ... f=13&t=589
Also, ms_enj has been kind enough to share wiring diagrams, but I am unsure if these are for NA models:
If I'm reading the diagram correctly, the fog switch will trigger the fog relay only if the taillights are on. We need to bypass the taillight relay by connecting the red/yellow wire from the fog switch and the red/blue wire leading to the fog relay.
In the case of NA models, I'm assuming the headlight relay is used instead of the taillight relay.

I bought a fog set on Amazon that was original ( or very similar!) It brought the black tape to hide wires and all. It looks similar to the non Fog light kit I had. It even came with a button to put next to the traction control button
