After debating internally whether I want to sell my Kizashi or just do some minor tweaks, I decided to do minor tweaks. Among these is trying to reduce road noise even more.

Has anyone had success on this front with the Kizashi?

Compared to my old car, the kizashi is super quiet lol, hadn't thought about soundproofing.

It is the second time this month I read someone complaining about the noise level in the Kizashi. There is not a lot of noise in mine... what year is yours? Mine is a 2012. Is it tires noise or just general noise?

The kizashi stock is a very quiet car, even with my exhaust its quiet. Ive even gutted out the interior including door panels for like a month and still was pretty quiet ride., but the best way to damp would be to put Dynamat. On your doors, trunk floor, and if u remove the rear seat, back there too

I like a quiet car and have thought of using Dynamat on my Kizashi. I put Dynamat on my 2003 Corolla and it is almost a quiet as my Kizashi, so I'm not sure how much Dynamat would quiet down the Kizashi. Changing tires to Michelin Defenders made a huge improvement.

What kind of exhaust do you have? Any sound clips of it?

The Kizashi is a quiet car. Carefully examining it, you can see the lengths Suzuki went to make sure the sound deadening was effective. For example, go examine your tail light bulbs. You'll see that not only is the cover to the tail lights lined with sound deadening material, but the light housing itself also has foam for insulation.
As the others stated, if you have an issue with road noise, it's not the car; it's likely your tires.
