"Clunk" accelerating from stop, reversing or coming to a stop
I've had a clunk noise when first starting off, coming to a stop or reversing. Brought it in and the tech heard it too saying that it's common with the Kiz and is the brake pads moving in the caliper. Anyone else experiencing this too?

Pads are good, I'm thinking it may be axel related, but have no clue what to check for a bad axel.

Seems like a stupid suggestion, but make sure nothing is loose in the trunk and in the spare wheel well. Also, I've never heard clunking noises from the brake pads so I think your tech is full of shit. Is it the same place that told you Kizashi's don't have an underbody cover under the oil pan after they forgot to reinstall yours?

I've heard it after I start the car and reverse going down the driveway. Happens immediately after I engage the throttle. After I had my brake pads changed along with the rotors I no longer hear it.

Replaced front pads, clunk is gone. I guess the dealer was right.
