Hey guys, glad to see more people posting! Just picked up a set of Arrow Industries Gewalt Evolution wheel, similar in style to WORK VS-XX, super rare and three piece. Current specs on the wheels are 17" x 6" barrels and 1" lips. Plans for the winter are to build these wheels with 6" lips in the rear and 4" lips in the front. All said and done I'll have 12" wide wheels on my kizashi, which should be the widest setup on one that i've heard of, if I keep her. The time may have finally come to retire my Kizashi. Highly considering going a different route. Current options are an 8th Gen 6cyl 6 speed accord or a new CR-Z

I think the Accord is a much better choice. The CR-Z should be avoided until the next gen comes out which is rumored to ditch the loathed hybrid powertrain and have Honda's new 1.5 liter turbo that's going into the new Civic. Also, given you like customization, I think the Accord has more going for it than the CR-Z. You are also aware of the new Civic that's about to be hitting the showrooms soon too, right?

I sometimes think about what car I'd replace the Kizashi with and occasionally go on to autotrader or craigslist to browse around. I'm not serious about the replacement given a wide variety of cars interest me for different reasons. However, I'd want to get a good deal and some cars just aren't offered with them. In the end, I fully own my Kizashi and got a great deal so giving it up would be hard. It's not the most fun car to drive nor the most efficient, but it suits my current needs well and is overall a great car. Despite my daydreams of owning this or that car, I think it's best for me to keep the Kizashi for a while.

Just got her out of the shop this week. Went in for the oil pan (didn't have the time or motivation to hoist the engine) while it was in the shop insurance came to assess the damages and decided to pay to replace the exhaust system and all the plastics that had previously been shattered under my car. Luckily I had the shop only replace from the manifold to the second cat so I could salvage the resonator back that I built. This came as good news considering I had scraped the exhaust to just about nothing and quite a bit of leaks up front that I had plans on welding but that's all taken care of now.

Next on the agenda is building my wheels.

Also should note, 12" wide probably isn't going to fit in the wheels wells(will be mocking it up this weekend) so playing around with the ideas of either rolling fender  or building some wide body bolt on flares :o

Mocked up the wheels this weekend. Have decided on 5.5" lips in the rear and 3.5" in the front and should fit the wells quite tightly

You doing all the fab work on the wheels yourself? Similar to widening steelies, no? Glad you're moving forward on this.

That's one thing I will not be doing. I have found a shop that has blank lips that they drill out to my bolt pattern. Still considering what I want to do in terms of color combo's as well. I think for sure the lips are going to be polished and the centers I'm playing with the idea of 24k gold or translucent copper powder coat or maybe hydrodipping
