have I made a mistake
The Kiz will be Suzuki's newest "Samurai-like" legacy here in the states. People are still daily driving those all around the country. My daughter just told me she's seen two routinely running around Hamden CT the past year and a half. Only difference, there were far more of those sold here as compared to the Kiz.

Its a huge mistake not buying, get it soon if you havent before someone will.

Please make me feel better on my decision. I love the car. it is the nicest one I have ever owned and plan to for some time to come. I expect to hear many things both good and bad but hopefully some good.

Happy new year everyone.. well last Monday I was suppose to go to party but decided not to because I haven't had a chance to drive the car yet in sleet and freezing rain.. if I was in my explorer I would have not thought about it and went. Still got my worries about how the kizashi will handle this . Now I still would have gone slow and anticipated stops and stayed further away from other cars even in the explorer.. I suppose it would have been the same.. I am waiting until I get a chance to drive this car in snow first. hopefully we here in PA will get something soon .. I don't want to be pushed into driving with out having my time to (experiment) so to speak..
Second thing... when I was being taught by my dad to drive in snow.. he taught me something I use to this day.. however in a standard automatic.. to stop and on the interstate going around a turn so that the engine isn't trying to push the car .. put it in neutral . can this be done with cvt and not damage it?

I know, I know.. just going from a truck to a car that sits so low to the ground is going to be a major change.WESHOOT2 wrote:1) Put Kizashi in "D"

My Kizashi(s) works wonderfully in bad weather.
The only issue you will have is ground clearance (when compared to a truck). Otherwise, it drives quite well on snow tires. You have experience in the snow, so that helps for comparison. Just go slow like you mentioned and learn the car and you'll be fine.
