Coming from the UK, I am not sure if you have Christmas in your respective countries. For those of you who don't, please let me explain what it is. We all buy presents for each other, and many people spend twice what they have got on their kids and then spend the next twelve months paying for it. The kids love opening these presents, and then by lunch time they are fed up with them and want what their friends got. By about 9.30am everyone starts getting drunk. Early afternoon we all sit down to an enormous dinner, and if you eat meat it's generally Turkey. We eat so much we want to be sick afterwards, but rest assured that doesn't stop us eating more. We then continue to gulp more alcohol until we feel very tired and either go to sleep or punch our wives. Sometimes we do both, but not in that order. We do all this in the celebration of someone who may or may not have existed, and if he did he certainly wasn't the bloke some people think he was. It's all rather nice really, despite the fact some people take 3 months to plan it all, and the shops put something called a Christmas tree up in September.

Happy Christmas to you and your Kiziz

Wow, Here in the states it is Merry Christmas , and most of what you said is basically the same. Though being a Christian and proud to be one. I believe he was who he said he was. I do agree that putting up the tree in September is stupid as I am still in Summer mode.. I personally don't care for the commercialism of the day. I hope that everyone who does celebrate the reason for the season has a wonderful Christmas and a stress free New Year with our Kizashi's.

Happy Crimbo to you too paininthenuts. And to everyone else. I was in England for Christmas about five years ago, there's very little difference between here and there. Think maybe we drink a little less, love the Boxing day thing, we don't have that.

Oh, at this point I should now wish you all a happy new year. This is something that has always confused me. It's a night when everyone gets very drunk, sing old langzine, kiss people they don't know, and stay up until very late. All this because of a change of date. Me, I will be in bed by ten, and feel as fresh as a daisy tomorrow.

Happy new year all you Kizi people.

totally agree paininthenuts.. Personally I find new years depressing.. first the end of the holidays which always makes me feel down.. and second another year older come July.. so my kizzie will now be 5 years old now instead of 4.. but again also on the brighter side.. Spring is getting closer and summer . a chance to open the sun roof on the car and my annual trip this summer to wildwood NJ.. So yes. Happy New Year to my fellow Kizazhi owners and long may they run trouble free and have people looking jealous that they passed up a chance to own this car..
