Yeah, I'll do it again. Will you?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

The 2016 Civics have CVTs as well. I saw a commercial and thought this new model looked nice and has high mpg ratings (new car for daughter to investigate). Jumped on to their web-site and saw all Civics are CVTs. (base model has a manual offering) What says the forum about Honda CVTs? WESHOOT??

Honda CVTs are apparently good. They make their own if I'm not mistaken.
From my reading, Subaru, Honda, and Toyota (Aisin) CVTs are good. Nissan (JATCO), Mini, and Audi have had serious issues with their CVTs in the past. CVTs also do very well in hybrids ranging from the Toyota Prius to the Ford Fusion Hybrid. I think CVTs are best suited for lightweight compacts and hybrids.

Well this happened last night, not mine but my Gf's. Absolutely love this car. So far nothing negative to say but time will tell. Picked her up with only 4,000 on the odometer for a great price.

As for me, I still don't know yet... Something about an mk5 R32 keeps calling me though

Nice. The Nismo version really enhances the look.

I also really liked the Gripz Concept car that Nissan had out recently. It's like a mix of the Z with the Juke to be a high performance crossover.

When it comes time to replace my Kizashi(s) two words come to mind: Focus RS

Or is that one word with two others abbreviated ?

But as far as sedans that look similar to the Kizashi, and have AWD, I actually really like the look of the current Mercedes C-Class. The front end isn't as nice and aero-styled as the Kizashi, but MB seems to be getting out of their snub-nosed design language phase. It's obviously a huge price-class jump from the Kizashi, but they seem to be selling like crazy down here in Miami, so hopefully the used / lease-return market will be pretty decent in 2-3 years.

I'm probably going to get another Kizashi. I was on my way home from work yesterday, and was driving alongside another White Kizashi S in traffic, basically the entire way home. I only live like 10 min. from my job, but the entire time it was within eyesight, I was completely enamored with the other Kizashi. I just can't help it.

I think that the Kizashi is just my unicorn car; that car that looks majestic from every angle I look at it. Sure there are a lot of reasons why I shouldn't get another one. But at this point, I don't think they are going to be enough to stop me. Just about the only thing that was going to stop me was lack of means to afford another one, but I just got a salary bump at work this week. So pending any major calamities, lack of money shouldn't be much of an excuse anymore.

And whether you realize it or not, having one of these cars makes you a member of a very exclusive group. Maybe not an "elite" group like owning a Porsche/Ferrari/STI/Golf R/etc, but still highly exclusive. Like owning an old British car or maybe a motorcycle. I may be the only one, but I love that feeling of exclusivity; that feeling of being different from the mainstream of Civics, Camrys, Impalas, and Focuses (Foci?). And the Kizashi is only going to become more exclusive as time goes on.

Sure the Kizashi handles like a dream, and they're pretty cheap, and they're super safe, and they're pretty solid all-around. But as weird as it may sound, I relish that feeling of having a car that few people have ever seen, and even fewer people have ever heard of.

TL-DR: Yes, I'd do it again. And Again. And then maybe one more time.

Still loving my G37x all wheel drive. Screaming deal off lease. Do I miss my 6mt GTS? Only every day! But with exclusivity came terror( parts availability) that I no longer have, and big hp overcomes missing the manual tranny. I was just noticing how the G doesn't have the hesitation on takeoff that the Kizzy did. That used to drive me nuts; mash the gas & wait a second for action. But I did love the car.

I also love the exclusivity of it. I still haven't seen another one.

But to answer the topic, I doubt it, simply because I just got this one and expect to have it for another 5+ years. By the time I'm in the market for a new car, the Kizashi will be too outdated for me.
