YIPPY! I made it.

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

I bought mine with 103,000 miles on it... It seems to run great so far. I'm a little disappointed with the gas mileage, though. My former '05 Subaru Legacy wagon with a 4-speed automatic did better. I was hoping to be about the same, considering my Kizashi is only FWD. I might try new spark plugs to see if that helps.

not sure of how much is city or hwy driving.. I live here in Hazleton area. and drive back and forth to wilkesbarre and I reset my mpg each time I leave.. from here to wilkesbarre. using cruise control as much as possible even set at 70 then of course 60 down in the valley.. I get about 33 to 34.. I have the awd version but keep it in Fwd (haven't had to use the awd yet ).. coming back to the the Hazleton area. mostly going up hill and again as much cruise control.. I get 30... short trips in town and it is in the mid 20's. To be honest for me these numbers are great!.. I had a heavy SUV for years and max on that even on hwy was only in the mid 20'd . and in the low teens in city.. So I guess this is all relative . if you had a Subaru before this was not a truck then you are noticing the difference in a bad way .. Sorry about that.. but try to use interstate as much as you can and cruise control. and keep it under 70.. I bet it will show better.. be sure to reset the mpg each time you leave to get accurate number.

Since I live in a rural area, and I'm only about 2 miles from the interstate, a majority of my driving is interstate at 70 with the cruise set. I only reset the MPG computer at each fill up, then compare the computer to actual calculation. That gives the most accurate tank average. I'm hoping some of it has to do with winter blend gas. I hate talking gas mileage during winter months, but that's what we have here 9 months of the year in PA... LOL But, yes... I got better mileage out of my '05 AWD Legacy Wagon with 145k on it... I'm going to experiment with a few things over the next several weeks. At this rate, my Kizzy is averaging closer to what my '05 Subaru Forester with 145k on it is getting... average, as you can see by the Fuelly badges in my signature. The Forester isn't as good on the highway, thanks to the higher ground clearance and laws of physics - pushing a box through the air.
