Thanks for the image. (love this forum and all the helpful guys in it) I think it's the bolt on the upper right although I don't know how I could have missed it. There's is another black bolt that's around the front and I know that I did put that one back in and the two that are right next to each other. That leaves only that bolt. My bit of OCD (everything must be returned to it's correct spot so color matters) will want me to pull the bumper again but I'm going to resist!
When you said you found it in the underbody tray, I figured it couldn't have been the side bolt given that would have fallen onto the ground next to the car instead of on an underbody tray. Maybe I misread your post about how you found that bolt.
I totally feel you about the compulsion to remove the bumper to affix the bolt. I'll admit I would have already done that by now.

DesRado, where did you get your mudflaps? You have a Kizashi Sport which the OE mud flaps are said to be incompatible with. Did you get aftermarket ones?

Today,

I changed my se bumper and replaced it with a gts one.

Added all the chrome features etc to look like a gts.

When I purchased the car it already had the other mud guards or whatever you want to call them on so I am not sure if that is what you are talking about. For the RallyArmors, I removed the front "OE" set and installed the new ones with the original screws that held the old ones in place (there was also some sort of adhesive strip too to help hold them in place). The rear was a little more troublesome as I could not take the rear mudguard off because there was nothing to mount the new flaps onto if I did. I used the same screws and screw holes and put the new flaps right on top of the "OE" ones. The work fine, definitely see less road spray as compared to other cars driving on rainy days. They've been on since October and survived snowmagedon with no issues.

The snow pictures are not from snowmagedon, but the next snow event after. It was that extremely powdery snow that sticks to everything. I just had to play in it a little bit. Tires made it feel like I was driving on dry ground for the most part... til I tried turning sharply at 15mph, got a little drift action.

It happened when I tossed the bolt into the plastic container I was putting the parts into. It was sitting on top of the engine and the bolt bounced out of it and then behind the engine and down into the tray.

It's odd that you had the OE ones. I was looking into it myself a while back but every site that listed the OE mudflaps stated that they were not compatible with the Sport wheels. I figured that it was because of the 18 inch diameter and that the OE mudflaps were designed for the smaller wheels of the S and SE models. However, it looks like they fit your car with no clearance issues. Did the OEs work okay to minimize road spray when you had them? The RallyArmors are cool but I think a bit much for my use given I don't drive on unpaved roads.

Today, I checked the air pressure of my spare tire that I've neglected for at least 2 years. 16 PSI. Pumped it back up to the recommended 60 PSI. While dealing with the trunk's undertray, I realized that the trunk's floor handle is cleverly designed to hook the top of the trunk's opening to hold itself up while you access the undertray or the spare tire. It's a clever little touch none of my previous vehicles had.

The oe mudflaps, I'm pretty sure they mainly only prevented rocks from hitting the painted portion behind the wheels and not so much to keep spray down.

Yeah, the rally armors are a bit much, especially since I only have fwd, but I liked the look. When my friends drive behind me on dusty/rocky roads, they haven't complained of any rocks kicking up at their cars, so that's a plus. OEs did not prevent that. More of paint protectors.

That's cool about the trunk floor. A former member gave me an extra tire he had, so I have a full size gts spare wheel in my trunk. Had to remove the black styrofoam section for it to fit. Placed some towels in the wheel and put the jack and other tools on top. Fits perfectly and trunk floor sits flat still.
