HELP my valve stem actually broke

Hey guys I have a 2011 kizashi sls awd and my valve stem broke...I dunno what to do...I'd prefer not to have to pay so much for one stem.from the dealer...damn TPMS. I see used ones on ebay but anyone have ideas as far as new ones etc? Thanks

If it's just the stem can't you pick up some sort of repair kit for a couple bucks?

Autozone has a replacement stem for $1.99. It just slides in a slot in the sensor. Simple once you get access to the sensor. No need to replace the sensor or reprogram the TPMS system. What I would do is go to Autozone pick up a new stem. Mark the position of the tire to the rim, so you can put the tire back on the rim as it originally was, so you will not need to rebalance the tire. Then have a tire shop release the tire on the side of the rim with the sensor. Replace the stem on the sensor (easy) then have the tire shop remount the tire so the tire is lined up with the mark you made.

Or you can press the tire back on the rim your self. Your foot can press the tire bead back on the rim. Some air to pop the bead back and your set. Minimum cost and a hour of your time.

Just to keep you guys updated in case this ever happens to you. DO NOT BUY what autozone is saying "fits" they say this Schrader will fit your TPMS unit to replace the stem...that's a total lie. The threading on the bottom of this stem isn't far enough down to cause it to apply pressure against the rim to cause that seal from the rubber gasket on the other side. If you have an advanced auto parts store go there instead (autozone may have this piece) but these guys here got me the right part. The correct part you should purchase is the Dill VS-70 TPMS kit w/Stem. It comes with everything you need although if you're just replacing the stem I would use the OEM gasket instead of the one that comes with this package though. It's exactly the same length, same thread lengths and even the angle on the end of it matches. Below is a link to the part in case needed. Cost me about 11 dollars...a lot cheaper then having to replace the entire TPMS. The funny part is it will say "does not fit your vehicle" but it's an exact replica of the OEM piece.
