I tried one already, it says bluetooth 2.0, maybe that is why it does not work. I see A2DP being referred to as 2.0 as well. Similar adapter to the one I have, meant for the cordless head sets. At one time I had looked up the format and A2DP was not it.
Just don't feel like buying another device that might work. I went with an aux in adapter that plugged into the antenna wire. Not perfect, but better than the FM modulator.
Audio in adapters??
I called suzuki the other day, and happened to ask about an aux input, and the guy said that there was a part that you could have suzuki install in your glove box.. im assuming they finally came out with a "factory aux input" he is supposed to be calling me back once he gets the part number... I will keep posted.
sloopercat- the aux in adapter that you got, is that like one from bestbuy? Hows the sound quality? about that of a cd?

I got the Schosce (sp?) unit. Sound quality not so good, static, like a bad reception. Need to try the other frequency you can set it to. Better than the modulator, but not CD quality. At least it does not continually need to be fuddled with.
I called Suzuki at the start of this quest, they denied there was any such thing as an aux in adapter for the car. Maybe they finally got enough calls, or monitor this site?
If it went into the XM jack, which is the only direct in, that would be great!

Probably a little of both... They do know about us, but they haven't directly posted here for months.
They only responded to the paint chipping issue and the account hasn't been logged into since July.
Today I got this idea of buying a bluetooth USB port to put into the port and play music off my phone via this product: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish- ... Id=8820886
Has anyone bought something like this before for their Kizashi, and if so, has it worked?

I don't know if something like this would work because the head unit would need to recognize the adapter as a network adapter (aka need drivers built-in). I highly doubt it, but it can't hurt to try!dmitche wrote:Today I got this idea of buying a bluetooth USB port to put into the port and play music off my phone via this product: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish- ...
