I bought my 2012 Kizashi SLS AWD a few weeks ago, I bough it wrecked, it had front minor damage, I'm replacing the bumper and that's all it needs. Only problem that I'm having is that the climate control buttons don't work, some light up others don't but none fully work with what their function is. I can't control the amount of air I want or if I want A/C or not, front or rear, the temperature. It also seems like when the accident something sticky spilled all over the controls of the stereo as well, not sure if the problem is only because they are sticky or whatever the liquid was got inside and damaged something. Any ideas of what areas I can start checking? This is my first Suzuki any help is appreciated thanks!Image

I want to first mention that the Kizashi has automatic climate control. Basically, you dial in a temperature you want and then the car controls the rest to achieve and maintain that temperature. However, it should still give you a manual override of the controls.
In terms of trying to resolve the issue, I'd first start by checking and replacing fuses. If that doesn't help, you'll likely want to pull the whole unit out and check the harness. If a thorough cleaning and harness re-connect doesn't resolve the issue, you'll probably want to replace the HVAC controls.
