Engineering mode like on the Grand Vitara

I got my wife's 2010 Grand Vitara to show "Engineering mode" info while resetting the trip meter. I have not been able to duplicate it, but wondered if something similiar exists for the K? Here is an example of someone else who did it as well on the SGV:

I'm not aware of it and I've never seen it discussed here. The closest thing would be the options for the display which can be accessed by holding down the DISP button on the steering wheel for several seconds. This allows you to change some settings ranging from fuel economy measure, temperature, to even controlling when the footwell lights come on.
