I assume a Lineman working in a bucket truck was the culprit. Did the power company assume responsibility or did they try to hide behind some excuse like you were parked in the power line's right of way? Sorry about the headliner. What a headache.Speed_Racer wrote:Not sure if I mentioned this issue a few years back - when the power company dropped a tool on my roof/window.
But I found that water was leaking in when it rained or during car washes. So I had it taken back to the body shop and they pulled the rear window and resealed it again. Not sure what happened but I have a faint stain on my headliner now, so that's not great.

My former boss had an experience like this. Over the course of a few days, the parking garage where we park had technicians replace all the lights from fluorescent to LEDs. They pretty much had to do it during the day when people parked their cars, literally putting up ladders between cars to reach the lighting structures.
My boss came out to his car one day to see his rear window completely shattered. He recalled them replacing the bulbs earlier that day in the parking level. Yet, they claimed no responsibility so he had to get it replaced himself. It's like they won't claim responsibility unless you can prove with evidence what is obvious.

Yesterday, I took off for an hour on my lunch break and just went driving for the sake of driving. I've had my Kizashi for 2 years now, and the honeymoon still isn't over.
