I am getting some snows tires and do not want to pay an extra $400 for 18" snows. I have a pull-a-part joint by me with a lot of Suzukis and the wheels are $10 a piece. My question is what is the smallest size wheel anyone has run on a GTS AWD and from what model/trim was it from? I can take measurements of bolt pattern and offset to determine what can fit but don't know what ones will not have clearance issues with the brake calipers. If there is no valuable info to be had then I will grab a few from the pick and pull and do some test fitting and provide my results here.
I already have a set of Nokian Hakka 8's in 15" in my garage that is why I want to go down to 15" wheels.
Steel wheel size compatibility
There was no difference in the brakes from model to model, so any wheel that fit on a Kizashi will fit on all Kizashi's. I don't think 15" was in that club though, the smallest wheels on any Kizashi were 16".

I used a set of stock 16" wheels from an SX4 for our snow set. They clear everything on our SLS Sport. I looked into 15s, but they are too small and won't clear the brake caliper.
I've probably got tons more information in my 'TPMS relearn with dealership' thread from when I did all this years ago.

What did you guys do about the TPMS sensors? Clone or reprogram the car?

I'd probably get universal ones that you can clone. I got some Chrysler ones for my summer wheels that are 'compatible', and the car is able to learn them, but it 'forgets' them as soon as I drive on the highway and gives me the error message. After I got my winter wheels powdercoated, the shop broke two of my Suzuki sensors and put in universal ones, and I've had no issues with those.redmed wrote:What did you guys do about the TPMS sensors? Got some genuine Suzuki ones and then reprogrammed them to the car myself.redmed wrote:What did you guys do about the TPMS sensors? Clone or reprogram the car?
Check out my 'Dealerless TPMS' thread--lots of great info that I used to build our winter set of tires--now going on 4 years strong.
