I had a nice flat tire. TPMS never said a word, and it was stone flat.

Every time the temperature drops 20° I have to air up the tires to keep the TMPS from over-reacting, but it lets me drive down the street on the sidewall trying to figure out why it's pulling so badly. I drove a block and a half, turned around and drove back, changed the wheel, then drove four blocks to the gas station and got it plugged.

It's possible that the Kizashi Sport OE shocks are stiffer than the Kizashi's and the KYB aftermarket replacement. OE part numbers are different between the Kizashi Sport and Kizashi's shocks and struts. It could be that the dampers themselves have different valving to make them stiffer to go along with the lower springs as the Kizashi Sports are 10mms lower than the Kizashi.[/quote]

I recall the threads with the whole part number difference and the possibility that all the after market shocks were the same. Even if the OEMs were stiffer to begin with, I figured after 100K miles that they would have worn enough to make them less stiff than the replacements. Maybe I should dig them out of the trash just in case!

While it's difficult for me to tell, the ride appears more smooth and quiet, I don't notice any change in the handling. But then I don't push it like some people in this forum. :drive:

As I was on the way to this dentist this past Friday, there were six cars on the side of the interstate along with emergency vehicles changing flats all within a tenth of a mile of each other. I was lucky as I thought for sure I'd pick up whatever was dumped on the road. :o

Mine was like that after I ran over a parking block covered by snow. I pulled the mesh up at an oil change, but later saw that it was pulled down like you describe. I then got a large stainless steel hose clamp and secured the mesh to cover the flex pipe. It hasn't moved since and it's been years.

Thanks for the tip. If it moves, I'll put a clamp on it.

I look down figuring a door wasn't closed or something...nothing on the dash or HUD was amiss. Never had it happen before. What was out of the norm was that I had left the RF on the night before shutting the car off. Normally I shut everything down (radio, climate control, lights, etc.) before killing the ignition. Chalked it up to my morning oh-dark-thirty stupor and didn't think anything more about until now. Bluetooth aye? Mine's not active in the car, AFAIK. Never used it, and, my phone's is definitely disabled. Interesting.
OK, I had the same thing happen this morning for the first time. I'm pretty sure it was when my phone connected although my volume was way down on the RF so I didn't hear anything right away. Remembering this thread I immediately turned the volume up and the song playing was in about the right place if it started playing at the time I heard the ding. The ding was pretty much like the low fuel chime only about half as loud. I'm using an iPhone 8 plus with the latest iOS. What device are you using?

That's the thing...I'm not using any devices in the car. The phone is always on and with me, but the phone's Bluetooth is disabled and I never paired it w/ the car (it's an LG Stylo3 I think).

Yours is definitely different. Mine is absolutely the bluetooth pairing with my phone. It even makes the noise if I have the radio turned completely off when the car pairs with it. It's much different from the fuel/TPMS dings, as this is a multi note sound.

Went camping at the Joshua Tree National Park in California this past weekend. With the Thule roof carrier, there's plenty of space for three and their gear for a weekend camping trip. While in a nearby town called Palm Desert, I saw a red Kizashi across from mine at an intersection. We waved and they waved back.
