114 Days: Pt III (3rd time's a charm)
Tire shoulders are taking a beating; might drop rear air pressure a wee bit to see if I can get them rears to sit a bit 'flatter' during heavy cornering.
As I grow more familiar with this one I am better able to determine nuances that frankly will not matter to others unless they go fast enough.
I was most reminded on this as I dove downhill on a favorite section of paved road. It is very 'technical', with extreme undulations that can fully compress the front suspension while turning. The GTS would use up all its travel and crash and skitter, while this SE still allows the wheels to articulate.
On dirt the significance of the increased travel is readily apparent. I can actually carry higher speeds in this one because the wheels have someplace to go, other than further compression on the bump stops.
I like it.

Last tank Mobil premium 26.9MPG; not bad considering the heat.
So I was thinking about us drivers as a whole, and how the whole actually drive.
Most people drive their vehicles between 1 and 4 on the ten-scale of capability. I think of these drivers like the racecar driver out on the track running warm-up laps, just getting things warm.
Maybe a wee bit of pushing to get some heat in the tires.
A smaller, but still significant number, drive between 4--7. Like the racercar driver starting to look for lines, but still not pushing.
Then there's the few drivers who drive in that 7--8--maybe 9 tenths range, pushing hard enough at times to get some loss of traction.
There are a few crazies who take thing to the ten. They be racing. They must have more money than me..........
