That was so cool to spot a twin! The closest I think we've done to that was another black one.

It would have been awesome to have ours parked next to yours and the other black sls--that would have been the most rare Kizashi gathering in the world.

Spotted our local twin! It was an SLS/GTS with a tint and without the window visors and pinstripe like ours, but otherwise our twin! I was able to drive right behind them so they saw me in the rear-view and I'm sure they were a bit startled to see another car just like theirs just like I was startled. It seems to be a local car so maybe I'll see it again.

This makes only 6(?) Kizashis that we've seen in the entire Chicago area that we've driven. I'm sure there is a few more, but I think that it will top out at 10 cars, 15 total maybe. With the Chicagoland population at almost 10 Million, if there's only 10-15 cars, that almost literally makes our Kizashi one in a million.

Super rare--saw 2 in one day! A red GTS/SLS with a missing lower finisher on the passenger side and then a maroon SE later in the same day. I've never seen 2 in a single day in such a long time (if ever). I think both of these we've seen before so I think we're still at the same 6 we've spotted.

Yes, I think Honda was overconfident in their new Accord. It's apparently very good mechanically but poor discounts on the car have hurt its sales. However, the main factor is that Americans simply prefer CUVs these days. For the first time ever, the RAV4 outsold the Camry. The Nissan Rogue is Nissan's top selling vehicle. Honda is also responding to the CUV trend by bringing another CUV soon to fit between the CR-V and Pilot and perhaps revive the Passport name.

Kizashi are super rare here in CT, so when my better half and i see them, we call them unicorns. lol

When we go to PA, we tend to see quite a few though. Although the numbers are going down as the cars age.

Breaking news! As of this month, you can finally lease a base-model Accord for $0 down. Hopefully, sales for their top trims will pick up as well. I really want that 2.0T that Honda's putting out to do well for a long time.

And in light of the current trend of CUV's/SUV's dominating sales for most manufacturers, somehow, Kia has managed to break out of this cycle. I can't find the original article I read, but apparently, the Forte was their best selling vehicle recently (by a small margin, they sold almost as many Souls). The only article I could find to back it up was here.

Even more fitting considering the Unicorn is the National Animal of Scotland!
