Hello all,
So I got 18" wheels for my kizashi. What I want to know is that should I go for 245/45 or 235/45 size tyre? I know the company recommends 235/45 but I am getting a better deal on 245/45. But will it effect my suspension adversely or no and with it touch the fender or not on bumps etc?

Tyre size
Yeah, I thought you were the one with them. Any specific reason why 245's? I imagine they grip a bit better and look nicer on the car but at the cost of potentially more road noise, fuel consumption, and higher price for the extra 10mm of rubber. Notice anything really different on 245's?

Hmm... That is interesting but looking at the picture don't you think that the 245 will hit the fender when going on a big bump or raised surface. And oh one more thing the 245 are 2018 production tyres and 235 are 2019

Brought the speedometer and odometer a lot closer to being accurate, and increased the gear ratio a little bit for highway driving. I think sixth gear should be quite a bit taller but hey, they never ask me these things when designing the car. They look better and help protect the rims a little more if I get dopey and brush a curb when parking. Only downside I see is the weight, these 2010 18" wheels and tires are already WAY too heavy and the bigger tires probably add a pound per corner.KuroNekko wrote: ↑Thu Jun 17, 2021 9:25 pmYeah, I thought you were the one with them.
