"Should I call Suzuki Corporate...?" I did that. I was sure that Customer Assistance would want to know there was a problem. After refusing to take a complaint or record my vehicle serial number, I was told to "take it to the dealer". Then, I did that. I did it three times. No fix yet.
"And I hear it in the (Right) rear to." Again, me too... What this one might be is a suspension bushing. Mine squeaks when it's really cold and I'm going over a speed-bump. Happily, I won't have to deal with it again until next Oct. or Nov. when cold weather returns.
"Suzuki... contact me." Because this would be the best thing Suzuki could do, make a serious deal out of fixing these cars, you can bet your sweet (***) it won't happen. (And YES, I do hope I'm wrong about this.)
New Rattle--Please call American Suzuki to report!
Unfortunatly narrowing down squeeks bumps and rattles is a tedious task. I'm sure you could get it fixed if you had it narrowed down to what it was...heck they are replacing engine mounts for guys blindly hoping that is the fix. That's at least an effort.
At what mileage did this happen...one of the things I relly like about this car is the ride and the way it soaks up bumps without a peep.

Today, April 7th, I decided I've had enough of the clunk/noise and went to my selling dealer to buy something else. He had listed on his web site a GTS 6 spd. I wanted to see/drive it. It wasn't there. When he discovered that the only near-by GTS manual is in Miami, he wanted to try once again to fix my car. He went back to service and made my 4th appointment to take care of this problem.
I was informed that "the" tech was away at "Suzuki school", and so my appt. is for next Tuesday, the 12th. I like the car enough that I can wait one more week. But, no..., I don't have much hope now that the noise will be found/fixed.
CCS77: I first noticed a "noise" on day 2, at maybe 150 miles. Like others, I figured it was something loose in the glove box, or maybe center console. I emptied those out, but the noise remained. Now, I'm sort of fixated on it, and hear it every time I drive the car. Over 6 months of hearing it is a lot of "peep(s)".

"Now if I can get Suzuki to repaint it."
Reading this line made me feel a little bit funny, like I'm asking for too much from my car. You have more to deal with than I do. My problem is an annoyance, a BIG irritation, but nothing more. No one but me, and Suzuki service, even knows there is a "problem". On the other hand, your problem is immeadiately reflected in resale value; mine, not so much. The average used-car buyer (meaning re-sale) probably wouldn't even notice my "clunk" until later on (meaning after purchase).
In an effort to be helpful, I bought a Sony Handicam and made a recording of my noise as I drove along. Suzuki may not be able to find or fix it, but they sure can't deny it exists. The noise is plainly audible on play-back. I will be one very happy camper is they can find whatever it is, and fix it.

After they fixed the engine mount in my car the rattle is better but not gone. It only happens now on extremely bumpy roads but now I have a creaking sound on the drivers side when I go over speed bumps or sharp bumps in the road. In addition it rattles in the rear on the right side too.
Suzuki needs to do more work in sorting out these suspenison issues. I wonder if S, and SE models experience these issues since the GTS, and SLS like mine have different dampers.
Added. I think they should offer a strut tower brace as standard on the GTS and SLS models to tighten things up. This a nice car in need of a bit more refinement in certain areas considering the asking price.

I have a rattle that comes and goes but is located in the area of the driver's side defrost vent in the far left bottom corner of the windshield. I also get one in the top of the driver's side front door, but a good Fonzie tap takes care of it most of the time.
However, these rattles don't come around too often and otherwise my Kiz is a very quiet ride at 10,000 miles so I have no serious complaints. After driving in my gf's $35K Kia Sorento, I can tell you my Kiz is a stealth machine. That Sorento is so loud and creaky I would be taking it back!

I can agree on that. I have to try really hard not to let that bother me, because that is the only issue that I consider to be a serious one. The safety aspect of not being able to get out of the way if need be concerns me, not to mention I don't like getting beat off the line by a Yugo!CCS77 wrote:Some of us Kizashi owners are extremely critical of these cars. I love the color of your Kiz, btw...

This is very close to what mine is like; if you strike any significant defect in the road surface with the RF wheel, you get the clunk.
"I wonder if S and SE models experience these issues?" I have the base "S" with 6 spd manual in white, with 6k miles so far. Your answer is a resounding "Yes, we do...!!". The noise has been there since the beginning, and was still there as of yesterday. I'm going to the selling dealer tomorrow morning for the 4th time to try and get something done.
Hawkzilla: "I have a rattle that comes and goes..." I sure wish I could say that. There hasn't been one single day (except for the original drive home before I knew for sure that a problem existed) that I haven't had to listen to that noise. While it is true that, at highway speeds, there isn't any noise, I live 8 1/2 miles from the entry to I-275. That means 5 or 6 clunks going out, and the same coming home. Every time...
CCS77: "Some of us Kizashi owners are extremely critical of these cars." Maybe I'm fooling myself, but I don't think this applies to me and my Kizashi. I bought a new car, I'm paying for a new car, and I'm just dumb enough to think I should GET A NEW CAR. Does anyone think my payments go "CLUNK" when they are deposited in Suzuki's bank account? I don't.
