My car gets a combination of curious and admiring looks. Most tell me it looks upscale. I enjoy that most people don't recognize it. Anybody feel the same?
I hear ya! I pretty much get the same. People who ride in the car seem to really like it. You do get a fair amount of curious stares and some people asking questions.
My wife and I were at a winery a couple of months ago, and my wife had to get something out of the car. I wondered what was taking her so long, so I went out to investigate, and as it turned out two couples were giving her the third degree. I walked up and they continued to ask questions. They really liked the car. Then they got into their BMW 7 series and drove away...THAT made us feel real good.
....I am a Honda salesman. Just means I know folks in the business, jaded by what gets called "just painted metal".
I get compliments from them.
The few who've gotten a ride mention its luxury feel and smooth quiet ride.
The car's appearance reminds them of "BMW". The back end gets all positive comments.
I don't really care; I want good gas mileage and AWD traction while driving like a maniac.
Imagine what people will say when I roll up in my Turbo Kizashi. LOL. I am holding off buying the car until I see what they unveil at the auto show. If it's a turbo, I will pat myself on the back for holding out this long.
