I love my Kizzy hahaha deff looks better than a SX4 lol
Okay, I got my recall done over the weekend and there is zero noticeable difference in performance. The guy at the dealership said it was likely for durability purposes only... which I am always a fan of.
So, for my AWD anyway, the performance stayed the same.

What exactly are they replacing? In the accessory belt train there are two idler pulleys, tensioner pulley, crankshaft pulley, water pump pulley, generator pulley, and A/C magnet clutch pulley.
According to the manual, to get the tensioner out, one would need to drain the coolant and remove the water pump. Is that what they are doing?

Whatever they did only took them 30 mins, so I'm guessing they didn't have to do much? I can't say for sure, but I would definitely get it done sooner than later.TObject wrote:What exactly are they replacing? That's what I thought, but after getting the recall notice (In Australia, months after I read about on this forum! Why the delay?). So I went into my dealer and was told that the required part wouldn't be available for at least a monthHawkzilla wrote:I would definitely get it done sooner than later.

I decided to be charitable and blame it on the earthquake.
.. that must be my fault.. I seemingly have the only other Kizashi on the roads in Australia and I aleady had it done a few weeks ago.. Sorry dude!Minority wrote:That's what I thought, but after getting the recall notice (In Australia, months after I read about on this forum! Why the delay?).
