blue - white led underbody lighting, IS IT LEGAL ???

okay I am wanting to get that glow look from underneth the car look, a blueish-white. I think its donr with LED strips, can someone point me in the right direction ? ALSO is it legal ??? do some states allow it and others dont ?
Mods: Cat Back, Under Drive Pulley, Strut Tower brace, K&N Filter, Sony Xplode 6 1/2 4 way speakers in rear, blacked out S in front grill, American Racing Alloys.
Old skool was neon tubes.
To my knowledge it is illegal everywhere while the car is in motion.
There are a TON of underbody lighting companies out there, if you can't find it, you need to go to super remedial google class.

you answered my real question, is it legal. I should have known something so cool would be illegal for some reason. cant let the peeps have any fun now can we?
by the way I am 50 and am going to go ahead and get the blueish-white
setup. and if i get pulled over i will tell the cop its just the way i roll. LOL!
