How long does the introductory XM subscription last?

I got my car from Suzuki headquarters in Brea Ca. as the original registered owner July 15th of this year, and upon taking possession earlier this week, the XM was already activated, so I'm guessing that there is an introductory window?
A couple days before I knew this car was on the market, I received an unsolicited offer for 3 free months of any XM activation, I guess I will try and use it when they pull the plug..

I didn't buy it from a traditional dealer...I will just ride it out for as long as it is paid up for... ;)
