I installed the pioneer avh-5200bt flip out in my 2012 kizashi. The problem I'm having is every time I start the car all the settings reset and I lose all memory. I found out that the yellow wire from the headunit needs to be on a constant 12v supply. Problem is I can't find it. On the aftermarket harness the yellow wire says 12v constant, but when I confirm with a multimeter I get nothing. I looked up a 12v constant supply for the kizashi and it told me the white/red wire is the constant 12v. Put the multimeter and still nothing.

Anyone knows a 12v constant supply that I can use?? I like checked all the wires with the multimeter and haven't got a 12v reading.

You might have blown a fuse on the white/ red wire?

Idk I checked all the fuses under the hood. Maybe there's a fuse box under the dash? Gonna have to check

Yes, there are at least two fuse boxes under the dash. On my RHD Aussie Kizashi one big fuse box is hidden behind the glove box on the lhs and I think there's another I noticed under the driver's side dash as well? (You need to remove the glove box to see the first one mentioned above.)

I got it!! It was a fuse. The radio 15a fuse under the dash was blown. Radio works perfectly now.
