Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

8-) my wife bought one of those brand new while we were dating! Now that was one fast little fun car to rip around in. I used to call it the econo-pocket-rocket. What did that thing redline at? around 9k? It was insane....Supra owners were pissed. They paid a lot more and couldn't hold candle to the GTS.
I think the redline was somewhere around 7.5k in an era where 4-5k was the norm, and still to this day one of the best 4cyl engines I've ever experienced. Of course it didn't have loads of power (118hp iirc?) and not much torque, or a lot of lateral grip with the narrow track...but it still never felt slow.

Anyway, sorry to WESHOOT2 for derailing the thread about his back road rally exploits.. :)

So it's been just over 7K since my last oil change; think I'll treat the K-car on Wednesday.
Maybe; I need a haircut, too.

No issues; no brake noises, no motor concerns, no nuthin'.
Except I'll need tires and that alignment. Wonder how long I'll go before that happens?

Been testing varied gas brands/blends, and Gulf premium is proving itself repeatedly.
Last tank was Mobil premium (gotta test to know), but it was about 2 MPG behind the average I'm getting from the Gulf. With the Gulf I'm staying around 27.9--29.7.

Got up early today for a dirt-road run to work (about 39 miles total; over 20 on dirt). The marbles have been particularly enjoyable recently, due to the road crews smoothing and resurfacing (common after-winter/spring-storm season).
I've left the VSC active, because it allows even moderate 4-wheel drifting, but intervenes when I divert my attention (to more mundane tasks, like lighting up my next Pall Mall).
Still, I can go really fast.

Wheels still attached.

"Premium" gas is anything but. It carries less energy, and has additives in it which make it harder to light, and burn slower. Unless a car is specifically designed for high test, it will deliver less power and lower gas mileage.

Perhaps in every other car, but my car disagrees. My car delivers better mileage and performance.
Tested.

Weird, huh?

Been testing varied brands/blends since I bought a new 1983 Cavalier.
Oddly (?), that car showed a marked preference for Amoco Gold....

So I went to my local dealer yesterday for an oil change ($33.50!!!) and got an opportunity to inspect the underside of my AWD Kizashi.

EVERY piece of underbody plastic was:
-cracked
-holed
-smashed
-splintered
-still attached.

I'm still laughing.........

While up I had the tech look over the suspension and bearings and such; other than the dent in the muffler all is good.

The front rotors and pads have 'sufficient' life; rear rotors are trashed, and the pads are almost gone. I'll be replacing those components ASAP.
Washed my front side windows. Crazy me.

Unbelievably, everything still attached.

I ordered rear slotted rotors and pads, SP Performance brand, from TopBrakes.com today.
$208.99 delivered.

I'll let you know......
