I won't be able to post the links to all the sites because I can't be bothered to find them all again. However, I do recall reading about it in a Legacy, Veloster, and an Accord forum. Also, read the reviews for the VLEDS CXA kit (what I have) here:
http://www.vleds.com/review/product/lis ... gory/1334/
There is one who states he uses it in a projector lens and the light is scattered.
Also, in the thread I created for this topic, I copied and pasted email correspondence I had with VLEDS. They explicitly wrote that their LED kits are not recommended for use in projector lenses and advised to get a HID kit instead.
In fact, I'm seeing that VLEDS just released a brand new line of LED conversion kits called the "MT-G2". Some versions like the H4 output 3000 lumens, according to them. On the page for the new kit for H11 bulbs, they write "Not recomended for projector headlamps." Found here:

My understanding is that it has to do with how the LEDs are mounted. They are surface-mounted unlike halogens and HIDs which are glass-suspended. Therefore they radiate light differently in terms of direction. This affects the refraction of light inside the projector housing for throw out the lens.
I also don't have a very good place to throw the light onto even if I was to do the swap of the LEDs into the projectors. I'm planning to do the capacitor harness installation during the day tomorrow so the daylight, poor throw location, and the short throw distance will all work against getting an accurate depiction of how the LEDs in the projectors will perform to cast light on the road at night.
I know I'm the only one who has this kit to show everyone, but I've spent an insane amount of time with tutorials and reviews on the lighting mods I've made. I'm simply at a point where I don't want to waste time with experiments and just want to finalize my Kizashi's lighting projects. I apologize for the disappointment, but these mods are just as available to others for purchase as they were to me. Hell, VLEDS now offers a newer, higher output "MT-G2" kit that I'm sure will be offered in H7 soon. Maybe someone else can get these and play with them for all of us to see (though that heat sink/fan base looks rather bulky and may not fit the Kizashi's headlight housing with the dust cap on).
