Kizashi-flying, tires howling. Time for summer's tires. Wonder what I'll actually do.
There are strategic corner whoops now that permit one so inclined to get one side of the car COMPLETELY up in the air.

Well I gone and done it; I bought new tires --gasp!-- not used, for the Kizashi.
I was shoppin' around craigslist, using a $250 cap, when I decided to google my size (225/50 R17), and discounttiredirect had some Chinese "Sentury" UHP W-rated XL skins for $64 each. Did a quick review search ("...good in dry, not as good as some in the wet"...).
And they only weigh 24lb.
Set's on the way.
We'll see
Last two tanks Gulf premium both returned 31.4MPG. Warmer.....

My my my........
So my $64-each tires are quiet. They currently (at 42PSI front, 40 rear) exhibit no 'set', nor 'unwind'. They certainly grip. While I've had little opportunity to push them in the wet, the bit I've done suggests they're at least safe.
Further testing required.
Last tank Gulf premium 27.0 MPG.
